The shape of the hull incorporates a bow bussle which increases overall displacement, without increasing the hull waterline length. Therefore, DRISKY keeps its large sail area which helps performance in the light airs. The hull length is larger than most other designs, therefore in the stronger wind conditions both the hull length and the heavier displacement keeps DRISKY very competitive. Best performance is in wind speeds above 6mph, DRISKY has great pointing ability to windward, which is helped by the trim tab fitted to the keel.
The hull kit will come in the form of a part completed yacht, ready for the installation of the rig and radio equipment. The hull, deck, rudder, fin and other internal parts, including the bumper are all fitted to the hull. A range of colours are available for the hull and deck.
